Week 2:
Good UXD: This week I started playing a new game called Two Dots. It isn't even that great of a game but it feels good to play. The design is based on circles, there is only one action per screen, and there is a lot of clear space.
Bad UXD: There is an app that I like called The Stoic because you can read neat quotes about Stoicism. However, the app is pretty ugly. I'm not sure if it is the type, random type sizes, or Google ads that make it feel odd. It may come down to bad UI more than UX, but that brings up the question... does bad UI ensure bad UX?
I've attached screenshots.
